Review for Keever & Associates

I’m writing as a board member and individual unit owner of a 27 unit condominium complex in Seattle. Around 2007 we realized we had significant water damage to the envelope of our building (roof, decks, windows, outer walkways) so we began the process of interviewing contractors, architects, lawyers, and the like. Our board was originally very divided in opinion as to the correct course of action and style of contractor to hire but thankfully Keever & Associates rose to the top as an excellent choice that would satisfy both ends of the spectrum. The company representatives, Ed & Kyle Keever, offered their personal time in the evenings for several rounds of interviews accommpanied with detailed proposals. Throughout the process, it was very apparent to me they were straight forward, honest men who were running a family business and after meeting so many cheesy, greasy, fast talking, or for that matter, very “high end” contractors, I felt the most comfortable giving our 1.3 M project to them.

We hired Keever & Associates and worked with them over the last 2 1/2 years and now our repairs are done – on time and within budget. Everyone on their team was hard working and thorough. They orchastrated the project while all tenants remained living on site which was an amazing accomplishment. They communicated with the board and tenants on each stage of the project and they did several additional jobs without charging us because they knew it wasn’t complete without them.

I highly recommend Keever & Associates. I will be using them for my personal constuction projects in the future and wish them many successes.

I interviewed multiple different contractors in the Seattle area to find the right fit for my tenant improvement project. Keever and associates was by far the best. Not even close.
In the often shady world of general contracting, Kyle Keever’s honesty, dependability, and integrity are a welcome change. I actually looked forward each interaction I had with not only Kyle but also with the group of subcontractors he chose to work with. They were always attentive and prompt in dealing with any issue that developed, and were flexible in allowing me to arrange whatever work I chose to do on my own. I appreciated how Kyle listened to my desires, and remained as budget conscious as I was! His bid was very competitive and he stuck to it.
I was so pleased with this company, I actually enjoyed writing them a check because they clearly deserved it!
I absolutely give this company the highest recommendation possible, and am completely convinced that they are the best contracting company in the Seattle area.

My wife and I hired Keever and Associates to convert our crawlspace into an unfinished daylight basement. We tried getting bids from several local contractors, but most didn’t even bother to respond. After comparing the bids we did get, Keever and Associates’ was the most competitive. They were more than willing to tailor the work performed to fit within our budget. From the bid to the finished project, Kyle kept us informed of the project’s progress and was very responsive in answering all questions. During construction some minor water damage was found (because of an original construction defect). He provided a very reasonable quote to replace some siding and flashing to fix the issue. When there was a problem with a newly installed window, Kyle made sure the manufacturer came out and fixed it to our satisfaction. They are honest, hard working and do quality work. I highly recommend Keever and Associates, and will definitely use them again!

We had the Keever company do a home office build-out, converting a garage and shop area into a very sleek looking graphic design firm’s office. They were always very responsive, reliable, and detail oriented. It was a great experience working with them, and I’d recommend them to anyone needing a top-notch contractor for a residential project of any size.

Keevers helped us to enlarge our family room and kitchen space into a wonderful useable room. We also extended the deck. Having been very pleased with their complete attention to our project then we hired them to remodel our outdated downstairs family room and office space. Both Ed and Kyle were always available to answer questions or come to see what we felt needed to be discuss. They hire very reliable people. People you feel comfortable being in your home and respecting your property. At the end of each day everything was picked up and put away. All in all a very nice building experience. Thanks. Hired Keever and Associates to replace an old garage shed that was falling down. The new project involved building a 15′ tall garage to house a single post lift so that I could store 2 cars in the foot print of a single car garage to maximize the relatively small lot I have in Wallingford. I am very happy with the results – the mitered corners, knee braces and other craftman touches nicely match my 100 year old house. Kyle is a straight talking, honest person to deal with and I felt like I was always in the loop about what was going on. I could not be happier about the experience and the results.

Keever and Associates did a remodel for us years ago (an addition of a bedroom, extension of the dining room, and adding a garage.) They were easy to work with and did a great job for us. So when we wanted to do some major upgrades to our home we had them back again. The results were wonderful. Ed and Kyle are honest people. That was extremely important to us also. Plus they made sure the job was done correctly and we were happy with what we got. Mary and Richard

Keever and Assoc remodeled our home in 2002 – 2003. We not only did not understand the process in the beginning but also had my wonderful Father with dementia living with us at the time. Not only did Ed, Kyle and Karson do a stellar job with the remodel, keeping us informed with every step, but they also were very compassionate and aware of the safety factors with my Dad. Everyday they cleaned up and reviewed what they had done and let us know what would happen next. They even built a special door with a lock so my Dad would not wander to the area that was open. If anything needed to be added, there was a photo taken and a great explanation. They had excellent subs for the job also. We still use some of them for our home and a rental we have locally. We added many things on to the contract and they kept the bookkeeping very clear and fair. We continually receive compliments on how amazing the house looks. We have remained friends and use Keever and Assoc for any of our current contractor needs. Thanks for a job well done! Debbie and Henry
